Do to the ecomony going the way it is, I have to find a full time job. I will be limiting my hat production to 150 this year, 3 per week. I will be keeping a list and when it is full, it is full.
Jimmy Pierce has been working with custom hats for almost 10 years. While working on his degree in theater design at TCU, Jmmy started working for Peters Bros. Hats in Fort Worth in 1998. Towards the end of college Jimmy started studying the history of hats and hats styles, specificly the hat making processes of the 19th and first half of the 20th centuries. After combining these with the a few aspects of the modern process Jimmy has found a unique way of making custom hats which yields a superb result.
In 2005 Jimmy started his own custom hat company. He still studies everything he can find about the history of hats. He will be the first to admit he doesn't know everything about hats, but he keeps learning more.
Jimmy has developed a name for recreating historic hats as well as movie hats, not just recreating the shapes, but researching the proper materials as well.
